Compact TV Stands: Around 80–100cm Wide
Compact TV stands suit smaller rooms, tighter wall spaces or secondary TVs. At around 80–100cm wide, they give you a smaller footprint while still offering useful shelving, drawers or cupboard storage depending on the design.
Mid-Width TV Units: Around 120–150cm Wide
TV units around 120–150cm wide give you more surface space and usually more room for media equipment and storage underneath. They can work well if you have a larger TV, use a soundbar or want space for consoles and streaming devices alongside the screen.
Large and Widescreen TV Units: Around 158–200cm Wide
Larger units between roughly 158cm and 200cm wide suit wider walls and bigger television setups. They also give you more room to spread storage across drawers, cupboards and open shelving, which can be useful if several devices sit around the TV.
